I rarely post real estate problems, but I can't help this one. This company is committing fraud. I have been receiving numerous calls about people handing over $100 for applications and $180 for a deposit. The problem is that they are not a licensed real estate office. They are pulling the information from the mls and giving the lists to unsuspecting potential renters that have no idea that this company does NOT have any listings of their own. They are giving out codes to renters to enter properties. A licensed real estate agent should be showing you these properties. The reason I mention this is that one of our houses that was just rented had a person come by that just gave this company her $180 deposit money. We rented this property out a week ago. It is our listing, no company can market it as theirs. Be warned, be careful. If at all possible please go to

http://www.realtor.com/ to find a rental property. Those sites are legitimate and will show you which real estate company has the listing.

My personal opinion is that someone should go to jail for fraud and misrepresentation. Most of all, I hope the last person that called me gets her $180 dollars back.

what happened to my husband and i this weekend was horrible. we called this company because we had seen an ad online about a condo we paid the 180.00 and this week end we went to see the condo when we got thier the owner of the condo didnt know this company had her condo for rent owner was extremely upset! we then called jesse the manager at the access property location and he didnt help us his coworker did. A very rude man scary looking> He didnt wanna give us the money back and we left made a complaint and called the cops we hope we take them to court soon and make sure these scammers will stop doing this to people!

Got another call today. This company is not even on the DRE (Department of Real Estate) approved Active Prepaid Listing Service (PRLS). Shame on you for giving out access codes to properties and charging prospective renters a credit check fee and then running it through freecreditreport.com.

The broker of this company is Vicente Guzman license number 01787600 and the only salesperson listed is Maria Luevanos and her license is 01800917.

My girlfriend and I signed an agreement with these crooks on 11/17/2011, we started to research them once they weren't returning our calls. Once we found out all this bad info we went in their to demand our money back and they gave us an address to contact about a refund and gave me a number which I think is false probably. I told the employees that if I don't get my money by tomorrow then I will be calling the DRE, the police and a lawyer because I don't care if its only $200 dollars I am not gonna let them get away with this. They were trying to tell us they had held the house with our deposit and that the rent was gonna be $1300. When we contacted the actual company in charge of this houes they stated it was rented yesterday and that the rent was going for $1695. We want to get bck at these crooks and we want to know how we can do it. I am gonna file a complaint to the DRE about the licensees associated with this company. Diana, do you know of any other action we can take. We want our money back and we want them to be out of business. thank you for your time and make sure taht if you are reading this that you 1. don't use this company and 2. warn anyone and everyone you know not to use this company.
Matheloo, Yes, report them to the Department of Real Estate. Just the fact that they pull the information from the MLS and then quote you a $395 dollar difference is fraud all by itself. This broker needs to lose his licence. I hope you get your deposit back. I don't know how they justify taking deposits on houses that have already been rented.
I got a new call today. They are now taking advertising from Craigslist that an owner put up, cut and pasting just the descriptions and changing the contact phone number to their own. Your are going down Access Property Services! It's just a matter of time.
